Hey everyone a few updates.
First off the new episode is here for "A Journey In Filmmaking"

Secondly we just uploaded a  test clip for you guys to enjoy from an upcoming scene we are filming.

Thirdly here is a more detailed plot description for the film itself:

Memories and Blessings is the story of Steven Whitmore, who experiences tragedy when his wife is killed in a car accident. With his life in a sudden tailspin Steven finds an old box filled with memorabilia from the life he and Samantha, his wife, had spent together. He also finds a scrap book with the word Memories printed on the front. We watch as Steven and Samantha’s past unfolds before our eyes and we see what it means to be truly blessed, and how the only way to truly deal with tragedy is through the power of Jesus Christ.
The majority of the film takes place within this book of memories as Steven recalls how he met his wife and the roller-coaster ride they have experience together. The primary theme of the film is that even though tragedy is a terrible thing, God can still work through it and carry us along the way.
*Side Note From Writer/Director Matthew Quinlan
The story stems in part from a tragedy my family suffered about a year and a half ago when my younger brother’s car went of the road on an extremely rainy night and he was killed. Pieces of the story are inspired by that situation, not so much the actual events but how God used it and the strength He gave to both of my parents.
Oh and one last thing we started a Kickstater.com campaign to raise the remaining funds we need to finish the film. Please consider pledging bellow.
Thanks!

Well There you go hope you enjoy.

Just so everyone is aware. After some prayer and consulting we have decided to convert this project into a feature film. We will still be releasing a promo of sorts by the end of March but will instead shoot the rest of the story and downsize into a film. We believe that telling our story in a film format will be more effective.
Thanks everybody.

Hi again, got a couple of stills of yesterdays shoot for everybody. Everything went perfect yesterday and the scene turned out awesome.

Stay tuned for more information and for the new episode of A Journey In Filmmaking on Thursday.

Hi everyone,
Welcome to the official blog for the Christian web show "Memories and Blessings". Memories and Blessings follows Steven Whitmore as he endures a massive, sudden change in his life. This event causes him to look into his past and realize just how Blessed he really is. The pilot episode will introduce us to Steven and we will watch the aforementioned event unfold. Each following episode will be a different memory in his past, with every episode building upon the last until the conclusion of the series. Each episode will average 13-15 minutes in length with a total of approximately 10 episodes. Production on the pilot episode begins this weekend and we hope to have everything finished and ready to release before the end of March. After which we will start production on the rest of the series with a planned release of the end of September. When we will start releasing episodes on a bi-weekly basis. We hope you will follow us through production and get as excited about the project as we are. We will be posting updates here frequently and you can also watch our weekly web series entitled "A Journey In Filmmaking" which will follow the production of our show including behind the scenes extras and exclusive content. We will also be giving tips and tricks we have learned along the way. Follow our YouTube channel here and make sure not to miss new episodes. You can watch the first episode below. Also follow our director on twitter @matthewquinlan.
Thanks for taking a look. Please pass us along to your friends and family and help us get everyone excited about this all new Christian drama.
God Bless
